it's just a bag...

Who would have guessed that I have become this addicted to bags, though I am not buying each bag I find nice, I do love browsing for them for hours and days...
It's been a while since the changes in my life style, from biking to taking trains and metros, and from working in the night to a "normal" working hours.
In Groningen, (ah i miss that city so much), everything is 10 minutes away, i didnt have to worry about packing everything i need for the day in my backpack, (yes, a while ago i was an addict of backpacks -wonderful equipment for biking and walking-). Now, when working in different city in the morning then training in another part of the city in the evening, and when commuting takes more than an hour from one place to the other, I really need more than efficient packing.
My obsession was focused on finding a bag that can carry and organize everything i use for the whole day at work and the gym, not to forget small snacks and women's chores. Things I need to carry change everyday, from laptop+training, then laptop+training+books, or double training+books, etc. so the quest began.
I browsed every bag's website I could find, from top brands to streets items. The bag should fit my laptops, and my paper work, water bottle, umbrella (cheers to the dutch weather!), scarf, small utilities, gadgets, and my gym equipments. This should be a shoulder bag (well backpack doesnt really work when commuting in the well-packed metro/train, not only for a safety reason that you cannot really know what people is doing behind you, but also sometimes it is annoying for others that have to bump on a bulky backpack), and yeah, having internal organization is a must. This should be leather or leather look, just for my taste at this moment though.
Some friends, and my bf (that has been driven crazy for this matter :p), told me to bring two bags, or to change bag that fits the day. but no i hate that.
After endless window shopping and internet browsing, I decided to buy crumpler's dentist wife. It can fit a laptop and I can squeeze some training clothes in it, though I probably would need another shopper to carry the remaining items for a certain day. It has amazing internal organizers and it is a shoulder bag. However today, accidentally while I was browsing for my bf's presents, I found a björnborg bag, it doesn't compare to crumpler's for the material, the look and the price, but hey, it gives all what i need, even more than crumpler's. It has a padded compartment for laptop, and a larger one for my gym stuff, including three internal pockets to organize my stuffs. I don't need to carry additional bag even for my busiest day. Best of all, it was in 30% discount :).
And so the quest is completed, at least for now.
I'll write in the next post all the bags I considered but turned down.
